Uganze Kalu “YourFoodGeek” is a corporate and commercial lawyer who is food lover. If it’s food, if it’s edible , then Uganze will explore it. For as long as Uganze can remember, she has always loved to dine out and explore different cultures through the art of food.
So after years of continuous eating she was spurred on to create YourFoodGeek – a food and restaurant blog dedicated to finding culinary spots and adventures. Through YourFoodGeek, Uganze hopes to create a community of food lovers and bring people together through her experiences.
Foodie traveler is also a good way to describe Uganze. She is a foodie who loves to travel and a traveller who loves food. She enjoys traveling and discovering the culture of other people through their food. Unfortunately, she doesn’t love to cook , but she’s been told a number of times that she is a good cook and should cook more often.
Uganze plans to build Yourfoodgeek into a known local and international brand. Her goal is to be able to assist people all over the world to make better and informed decisions when it comes to dining out so as to get better value for their money.
Her advice for anyone who wants to follow their passion is to “Live up that dream, because your dream is valid. Make no excuses and don’t let anything (including the fact that you’re a lawyer) deter you. Otherwise, someone somewhere will get busy living that dream you once had”
